Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:
Matthew Pizzo Longo, 71 Burnham Street, Requests a variance from Section 302.5(a) Yards, to reduce the front yard setback from 40 ft. to 37.5 ft. for a front entry mud room. (Zone R-2)[Postponed from the February 23, 2012 meeting]
Mario Pietraroia, 132 Spruce Drive, Requests a variance from Section 209.1(c) Parking, to permit parking 2.5 ft. from the property line requiring a 2.5 ft. variance. (Zone R-2)
Daniel Rakow, 133 Pitkin Street, Requests a variance from Section 210.5(c)(2) Signs, to permit the height of a ground sign of 18 ft. requiring a 3 ft. variance. (Zone B-3)
Double E Properties of East Hartford, LLC, 148 Roberts Street, Requests a variance from Section 502.3 Lot Frontage, proposing 31.67 feet of frontage along the street, requiring a variance of 68.33 ft. (Zone I-2)
RA East Hartford, LLC, 329 Ellington Road, Requests variances from Sections 210.5(c)(1 & 2) and 210.6(d) Signs, to permit increasing the ground sign from 32 sq. ft. to 98.81 sq. ft. and height from 15 ft. to 20 ft., also increasing the total square footage of signage from 130.5 sq. ft. to 310.3 sq. ft. and increasing the number of signs from 3 to 6. (Zone B-1)
